About Jenna
I got my TEFL certification (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) back in 2018. Afterwards, I taught English online to children in China until 2021. During that time, I also worked with adults on their conversation practice and helped them study for their citizenship exam. At the end of 2020, I started substitute teaching in public schools, where I helped children with reading, writing, and math. I also have my undergraduate degree in vocal performance (singing), and my master's degree in acting, so I like to be entertaining and creative! You can expect me to be friendly, easy-going, and very accommodating to meet you wherever you are on your learning journey!

I am a friendly and easy-going teacher that wants to help you improve your English! I like to break things down in simple terms so that it's easy for you to understand.
I like to spend the first lesson getting to know you and understand what your current capabilities are. After that, we can work together to see what fits your learning style---maybe you learn best by reading, or perhaps you just need conversation practice! From there, we can find practical tips in the real world to help you retain new skills faster.
I have worked with beginners all the way up to advanced English speakers. I can't wait to work with you!
