I graduated from the New York Vocal Coaching program in Manhatten. I also have experience as a backup singer in a band. The band and I have performed at the Great South Bay Music Festival on Long Island alongside Graham Nash.

For the first lesson I first welcome the student to my lessons. Then I have a discussion with them about their background with music and singing and their goals and issues as a singer. Then we do a warmup and record their range. Then I teach them about breathing and alignment. Then we do a breathing exersize. Then I explain to them vocal registration and vocal fach and tell them their voice type. Then i have them do vocal exersizes in the register that I feel they're strongest at and then the others. Then we apply the concepts into repertoire. For all following lessons, they're 40 minutes technique and 20 minutes performing unless the singer is more advanced and they want to do more or less of each one. Generally I like to keep things simple when I teach.
