About Laveda
I completed my 200hr Hatha and Vinyasa teacher training in Toronto, at Yogaspace in 2015. My teachers studied extensively in India with the K. Pattabhi Jois lineage of Ashtanga/Vinyasa. After my training I went on to coordinate a not-for-profit yoga program at United Athletics, a primarily boxing/fitness gym in Toronto where I had the opportunity to introduce beginners to yoga. I also sourced mat and prop donations from well-known yoga brands, and organized a “Yogathon” event for the community.
My classes include Hatha and Vinyasa styles with focus on correct alignment and muscle engagement accompanied by functional beathing. I have studied injury rehabilition and adjustments profoundly. I incorporate themes, set intentions, and use a variety of creative ways to immerse the students in a complete yoga sensory experience of connecting the mind, body and spirit.
Movement is life, and I want to ignite the fire inside those struggling to find healing towards bringing the body back to health and homeostasis. I believe it is my purpose to share the bliss yoga has brought to my life with anyone open to receive it. I delight in teaching people from all different demographics, including toddlers, children, adults, seniors and those with special needs. It is my intention to teach from a heart-centered space providing the required support for all who are on the path of healing.

Details
Students are required to sign a release form. Classes can also be held outside in nature at an agreed upon location. Cancellation is required 24hrs prior to scheduled lesson in order to not be charged.
