About Sophia
I began my yoga practice as a 12-year-old girl and it changed my life for the better. When I was 18 years old, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and suffered from a traumatic brain injury, so my relationship with yoga had to change. Almost 8 years later, my knowledge and appreciation for yoga have grown and I have a far deeper understanding of the benefits yoga has for all age groups and health conditions.
Fun fact about me is I am actively working on my Pilates certification as a balanced body trainee, and I began my practice just a year after starting yoga at 13.

Yoga is for everyone! Whether you’re new to your practice or seasoned, together we can work on a plan and practice geared towards whatever your goals may be. For example, if there’s a specific pose you’d like to work on, I can sequence a class that builds toward that pose as a peak. Or if you’d like to work on your foundation, we can break things down to an anatomical level to make sure you’re getting the most out of your practice.
