About Ciara
I am an ex Commonwealth gymnast who is currently finishing off my MedChemistry MSc, I strive for excellence in every aspects of my life. I am an extremely enthusiastic individual who loves to motivate and encourage students. I have had as experience the unique opportunity to teach some GCSE science lessons. I understand people don't associate chemistry as being fun or engaging but with the right teaching attitude I know I will make students fall in love with the subject just like I have.

Initially I would like to establish the students aspirational grades and targets. From there the student and myself will discuss the areas of chemistry/biochemistry they feel the least confident in, then we will focus on that topic for the first session. After each session I will allocate the pupil a past paper to attempt .Before the next tutoring session I will have marked and outlined the areas the student lacks knowledge in. At each session we will go through the marked paper together, understand the mistakes they made and use textbooks to help convey what the exam board wants exactly. From there the student should feel confident and capable to achieve the highest grade within the subject.
