About Joyce
"I sometimes struggle to explain how much I enjoy the periodic table. Most of my work involves helping teens and competition students navigate complex reaction mechanisms.
Since I am a Doctor of Medicine Candidate at the University of Sydney, I view chemistry through a clinical lens. Working with 92 students has shown me where most learners hit a wall with inorganic chemistry.
I am patient with those struggling to grasp the mole concept or numerical problem solving. My background involves translating abstract concepts into concrete logic for every student I meet.
You deserve a tutor who treats your academic progress with total professional seriousness. I maintain high standards because the medical path requires consistent effort and tactical thinking. This is the foundation of my coaching style."

"Calculations become intuitive once you stop memorizing formulas and start seeing the patterns. I taught 92 students that chemistry is just a series of logical steps. We focus on conceptual learning to ensure that periodic table trends make sense during high stakes testing. Inorganic chemistry is rarely a mystery when you view it from a tactical standpoint.
I prepare you to handle reaction mechanisms by reducing them to their core components. Numerical problem solving is a skill that we refine through consistent practice.
You will see your confidence grow as the complexity of the material becomes secondary to your understanding. I aim to make these topics feel accessible and manageable. It is all about the process."
