About Vani
I have spent five innovative years helping more than 165 students explore chemistry and computation. My background includes a doctoral degree in computational chemistry and catalytic systems research. I have worked in academic research and technology education. My students include those preparing for research universities and cheminformatics careers. I am known for technical expertise and enthusiasm for computational tools. I maintain extensive computational exercises and tutorials. Outside of teaching, I contribute to open-source chemistry software. I believe computational chemistry is transforming molecular understanding.

My chemistry teaching is innovative and computationally oriented. I teach students to use professional software for molecular visualization DFT calculations and molecular dynamics. Computational chemistry is taught as complement to experimental chemistry. I emphasize physical principles including quantum mechanics and statistical mechanics. For organic chemistry I teach computational tools to predict conformations and analyze mechanisms. I teach students to evaluate computational results critically. For exam preparation I provide comprehensive traditional coverage while introducing computational tools. I also guide students in computational research projects.
