I am a retired English teacher, living in the hills of Adelaide, Australia. I love reading, tennis, tai chi and walking with my dog.

I love communicating with people from all walks of life. From my teaching experience I have come to recognise that English is a very complex language to learn, particularly if you are from a non English-speaking country. Consequently I find it interesting, challenging and exhilarating to assist others in finding their way around this fascinating language. As conversation is the heart of any language it thrills me to have the opportunity to assist others in navigating the anomalies and delights of spoken English.
