About Veda
With a BFA in Vocal Arts and Opera and over 5 years of teaching experience, I specialize in empowering singers to find their voice. My training is rooted in classical technique, but my heart is in contemporary worship and gospel. I understand how intimidating singing in front of others can be, so I put a strong focus on building confidence and tackling performance anxiety. Lessons are designed to strengthen breath control, vocal health, and expressive phrasing while preparing you for real-life performance situations. Whether you’re singing to a congregation, recording in a studio, or just beginning your journey, my coaching adapts to your goals. I’ve worked with shy beginners, teen worship leaders, and developing artists alike. In addition to worship and gospel, I also teach Pop, Indie, and R&B styles, giving students a wide range of tools. I want every student to feel both technically prepared and emotionally connected to the songs they sing. My approach combines discipline with encouragement, ensuring steady progress and joy along the way. Singing is more than hitting notes—it’s about expressing your heart. That’s why I place equal importance on both artistry and authenticity. I’m passionate about guiding students to sing with freedom and spiritual depth. When you train with me, we’re not just working on your voice—we’re developing your confidence and presence. I believe singers should think of themselves like vocal athletes. My teaching focuses on training the voice to be strong, flexible, and sustainable. Breath support, resonance, and phrasing are at the core of every lesson. I teach strategies to build stamina for touring schedules and repeated performances. Students also learn how to manage vocal fatigue and recover effectively. Pre-performance warm-ups and post-performance cooldowns are non-negotiable in my approach. I emphasize the importance of vocal rest and hydration as part of daily care. My method helps both soloists and ensemble singers protect their voices under pressure. Lessons are practical, supportive, and grounded in healthy technique. I want every singer to feel confident knowing their voice can handle the demands of performance. Long-term vocal health is always the goal, not just short-term results. By building strong habits, singers can sustain their careers for decades. Preserve your voice, preserve your career.
