About Matthew
I'm a college graduate that played keyboard/piano for multiple bands across Renfrewshire with audience sizes in the hundreds. I've been playing for 6 years studying multiple genres with a speciality in jazz and blues. I studied music in high school with piano being my main instrument and in college I studied music theory and technology as well as doing performance.
I'm open and honest so I can accurately review on students performance and give them helpful feedback as to how to be their best.

I typically use an inquiry-based learning style which allows my student to take an active role in their own learning and develop useful problem solving skills while doing so. I encourage my students to ask as many questions as they want with no judgement. I try to find piano pieces that relate to the style of music that my students are interested in so they can be more involved.
I am doing 30-60 minute lessons, both online and in-person for high-school students studying music and for people just interested in learning piano.
