About Barbara
I have been teaching since I graduated from college (when the Cold War was still a thing that was going on). I have taught many students who have gone on to successful careers in government, education, and business. In addition to classroom experience I also have real world experience working for the U.S. Congress and the Department of State.

I want to help put you in the driver seat of your own education. My goal is to be a "guide on the side" rather than "sage on the stage." I have lots of experience lecturing to college students, but my favorite teaching is 1:1, knowing why you are motivated to study your topic helps me know how to help you approach the topic.
