About Amanda
Hi there!
My name is Amanda - originally from South Korea, raised in the UK, and now living in New York City. My academic journey took me through Columbia for undergrad, where I majored in anthropology, and later to the University of Chicago for a Master's in the social sciences, specialising in anthropology.
Since graduate school, I've been a nonprofit and fundraising consultant working with clients across the New England region. With a background deeply rooted in academia and a passion for teaching, I've also spent over three years tutoring subjects like English as a Second Language, French, History, GRE, and Essay Writing.
I derive so much pleasure in learning and teaching, and I hope that our paths cross!

In verbal, we'll delve into comprehensive question understanding and specific strategies for each type, with a side of vocab review whenever necessary. As someone deeply rooted in the social sciences, I've navigated the quant topics with precision, ensuring both accuracy and speed in my responses.
