Well, hello! My name is Shalen Harper, and I am a superhero who helps others become the best versions of themselves.
I love helping people succeed and accomplish, so I use my abilities to ensure your passions meet your talents and highlight your strengths!
I earned my major in Journalism and Mass Communications (Public Relations) and a minor in English at North Carolina A&T State University.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude because I like to push past the boundaries of what is expected as I save people with a smile!
I've helped civilians in academia, government, non-profit, and Fortune 100 companies, and I'm super excited to elevate even more with you.

I believe learning should be exciting!
Everyone learns differently, so depending on the problems presented to me, I curtail my lesson plans to each student. I apply audio, visual, and tactile learning to ensure each student is met where they excel.
A typical lesson would include engaging the student with my created interactive games that provide fun ways to remember lessons as well as make them stick. I ask questions and take as long as the student needs to help them understand.
Patience is my virtue. :)
I typically teach high school and older, but I help anyone who needs it.
Do not feel that you are too old to receive help. I have experience teaching individuals older and younger than myself, and I've received feedback with many repeat clients requesting my services later on.
