About the lesson

I completed my GCSEs in 2007 with 7 A* grades and 5 A grades. In 2009 I achieved 4 A's at A Level and went to the University of Warwick to study History.

Whilst at university, I completed a 150 hour classroom and online based course to Teach English as a Foreign Language. I also volunteered in a local Secondary school every Friday to shadow History and General Studies lessons with Year 7 through to Year 11 students.

I spent two years in Zurich teaching English to children from 2012 to 2014, where I prepared lessons, games and assisted in homework in English as well as Maths, Science and French.

I am confident in assisting students up to A Level standard in my specialist subjects and have many close friends and family working in state schools so I stay up to date with the latest curriculum.
