My tutoring philosophy focuses on understanding the language of music and how to translate the sounds that you hear in the world, and in your head, through your instrument. We will address the fundamentals of melody, harmony, rhythm and dynamics while analyzing the music that interests you most. Beyond the necessary attention to technique, we will be discussing composition and arrangements as well. By examining the recording process, we will explore the vast sonic possibilities of digital audio. Nurturing your own creativity is the ultimate goal.
