About Christos
I have been learning programming since I was 14 years old and I am always into building cool computer and mobile applications. Apart from that the last few years I have more than 10 years of experience in programming and I have been teaching programming and distributed systems at the University of Cambridge for the last 3 years where: - I taught programming to more than 120 students so far. - I taught programming for more than 240 hours so far. - I mentored 6 teams of 4-6 students into developing new businesses so far. Apart from teaching: (1) I am a researcher at the University of Cambridge working on Computer Network Security and Artificial Intelligence. (2) I am working with early-stage startups where we are developing new products and innovative business models. (3) I am collaborating with the Judge Business Schools into mentoring teams of students on how to build new businesses. (4) I am interested in well-being and I am trying to find ways on how to make people

I like teaching in a visual and practical way. I believe that visualisation of concepts makes it easier for people to understand and remember. I like teaching in an interactive way so that the students learn in the best possible way and we end up focusing on the topics that they find difficult. I like giving people exercises that they can delve in their own time to help them build their skills and make them more autonomous in learning. I will teach you how to learn so you can improve a lot more by yourself. I believe this is an important life skill that will be always useful no matter what you are trying to learn. My teaching style is adaptable to the needs and interests of the student(s).
