I am a Computer Science student on his placement year who has had previous experience at teaching university students basic computer programming concepts in his 2nd year where I was in charge of teaching a large group of students who needed help with one of the core modules at university.

As a tutor I find myself to be a patient and understanding individual who tries to make the student feel comfortable as I will allow him or her to take their time with understanding concepts. The way in which I teach consists of background theory, as well as hands on exercises as I have found these steps to be the most effective for previous students I have had, as well as for myself.
