About Dishant
As a second-year computer science student at the University of Toronto, I have a strong passion for technology and software development. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in computer science, and I am eager to share my knowledge and expertise with others by becoming a part-time tutor.
I have always been interested in technology and programming, and I enjoy exploring new languages, platforms, and tools. I have experience in several programming languages, including Python, Java, and C++, and I am confident in my ability to teach these languages to others.
In terms of my tutoring experience, I have previously tutored students in computer science courses, both individually and in group settings. I have found that my students respond well to my teaching style, which focuses on breaking down complex topics into manageable pieces, providing real-life examples, and encouraging them to ask questions and engage in discussions.

My teaching methodology would include a combination of lecture-style teaching and hands-on learning. I would strive to explain complex concepts in simple terms and use real-life examples to illustrate them.
In terms of teaching techniques, I would employ various teaching aids, including presentations, code snippets, videos, and other interactive tools, to keep the students engaged and interested in the material. Additionally, I would encourage students to ask questions and participate actively in the learning process.
A typical lesson plan would be structured around the student's learning goals and objectives. I would start by reviewing any previous material covered and ensure that the students have a solid understanding of the fundamentals before moving on to more advanced topics. The lesson plan would include a mix of lectures, demonstrations, and practical exercises to reinforce the material covered.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my passion for teaching and my ability to connect with students. I have a deep understanding of computer science concepts and can communicate them effectively to students of all levels. I am patient and attentive, and I take the time to understand each student's unique learning style to tailor my teaching approach accordingly.
My lessons are suitable for anyone studying computer science, including students pursuing a degree in the field, professionals looking to upskill or anyone looking to learn coding or computer science basics. I am comfortable teaching students at all levels, including beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners, and I can adjust my teaching approach accordingly to meet the specific needs of each student.
