About Vaibhav
Hi, I'm Vaibhav! I am a passionate maths tutor with two years of private teaching experience. Having achieved top marks myself (including 9s in GCSE Maths and Stats, an A in OCR Additional Maths FSMQ, A* and A in A-Level Maths and Further Maths, and predictions of 4 A*s), I know precisely what it takes to excel at the highest level.
I love teaching because there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student have that "lightbulb moment" (whether it is mastering a complex formula or leaping from a predicted B to an A/A*).
Maths can often feel intimidating, but with the right structure, step-by-step guidance, and encouragement, every student can thrive. My aim is to share the exact strategies that brought me success, helping my students build unwavering confidence, eliminate exam anxiety, and reach their full academic potential.

Hello! My name is Vaibhav, and I am a dedicated maths tutor with two years of experience guiding learners from KS2 all the way to A-Level. I specialise in helping ambitious students make dramatic leaps in their grades (including a recent student who advanced from a grade B prediction up to an A/A* level), especially for GCSE and A Level Maths.
My interactive 60-minute sessions make difficult concepts feel straightforward. Using a digital tablet, we tackle tricky algebra, calculus, and mechanics problems step-by-step on screen, ensuring every line of working is crystal clear.
To keep momentum going between sessions, I set targeted homework after every class. I mark this myself and track everything in a detailed spreadsheet, giving us clear insight into your child's progress, strengths, and exact areas for improvement over time.
Whether your child needs a boost in confidence or is aiming for top A/A* grades, I adapt my approach to help them achieve their absolute best.

I know Vaibhav as a family friend and as an older member in school. He started tutoring me for my GCSE’s when it looked like getting a 7 was tricky.
