About Dave
I am a classical guitarist, teacher and composer with over 30 years playing experience, and in this last decade I have taught over many pupils to improve their music theory. I am passionate about helping people understand the "nuts and bolts" of music, and enjoy puncturing the myth that theory is difficult or "exclusive". Anyone can understand music!
I have a BMus (Hons) music degree from City University, London, and live and work in Oxfordshire, UK - although I now teach online to anywhere in the world.

I usually follow the ABRSM curriculum, as this is a tried and tested pathway that can also lead to taking the "grade" exams, which are internationally recognised and respected. However, I start at the most basic levels, and can tailor my approach to a pupil's specific interest.
