About Shani
I am a dedicated piano and flute performer. I have played piano for 20 years, and flute for 14 years. I have performed in both small ensembles, large orchestras, symphony bands, and as a soloist. Though I have an extensive history in performance, my true passion is teaching children to have a love and healthy respect for classical music as an art form.

My teaching method is based on individuality. No two students learn exactly the same way, which is what makes teaching such a joy. I find that positive reinforcement, rather than highlighting faults or shortcomings, works best with the age groups I instruct. I view each student’s time with me as incredibly valuable, and I always aim for my student’s to know how much their experience means to me.
