About Ann
I am a passionate Singing tutor with 7 years of experience, having taught 150–200 students from beginners to advanced singers. My teaching philosophy emphasises personalised learning, ensuring that every lesson is tailored to a student’s goals, abilities, and preferred learning style. I focus on combining technical skill development with creative expression to inspire confidence and artistry.
In my lessons, students work on breath control, pitch, tone, rhythm, and stage presence. I integrate structured exercises with interactive practices to make learning engaging and effective. I also emphasise emotional expression, helping students connect deeply with the music they perform.
Known for my patience, empathy, and encouraging teaching style, I provide a nurturing environment where students feel comfortable experimenting, improving, and celebrating milestones. My mission is to help every student discover their unique voice, achieve their personal goals, and cultivate a lifelong love for singing.

My Singing teaching strategy encourages natural voice development through careful and flexible guidance. I adapt lessons to match the student’s vocal range, learning pace, and goals.
Empathy allows me to understand each student’s emotional connection to singing. I teach with compassion and patience, helping learners feel relaxed and confident.
Communication is open and clear. I explain breathing techniques, pitch correction, tone balance, and expression in simple terms. I provide regular feedback to guide improvement.
Collaboration is practised through shared practice routines, song selection, and progress reviews. In addition to Singing, I teach supportive subjects such as rhythm training, ear development, music basics, and performance preparation.
