About Conceicao
I’m a passionate teacher, world traveler, and lifelong learner. I’ve lived in 13 countries, worked with families and children around the globe, and spent more than 5 years teaching English — while Portuguese is my mother tongue. My international journey has taught me that languages are more than words: they’re bridges that connect people, cultures, and opportunities.
Why I Teach
I teach because I love helping people grow. Watching a student go from shy and unsure to confident and expressive is one of the most rewarding feelings I know. Teaching lets me share my knowledge, my love of languages, and my bubbly, fun personality — while also giving students the structure and discipline they need to succeed. I believe learning should be engaging, supportive, and full of laughter, but also rooted in responsibility and commitment.

Hi, I’m Conceição dos Santos — but everyone calls me Connie!
I’m a bubbly, funny, and dedicated teacher with over 5 years of experience teaching English and a native speaker of Portuguese.
