About Taliesha
I am a graduate of the CQUniversity conservatorium, with a major in Jazz voice and improvisation. Since graduation I have been performing live as a full time musician, both as lead singer in jazz/pop and rock bands as well as acoustic solo shows.

My lessons are geared towards students who are interested in learning vocals with attention to good technique, vocal health and who have commitment to learning. Students can expect to be taught from the ground up, and will be taught to understand proper/safe singing techniques including breathing, posture and anatomy of the vocals. For those students wishing to go beyond the average song, I offer can offer lessons on Jazz style and improvisation techniques.
Overall, my philosophy places emphasis on hard work, determination and thoroughness. I ensure my vocal students have a full understanding on the basics of singing, which includes vocal anatomy, health, music theory and basic piano. With these skills, the vocalist can stand out among the crowd. Additionally, I am able to teach basic acoustic guitar to the singer, so that she/he may accompany themselves!
I also offer music theory tutoring from basic to Jazz levels, to those who need a little help outside of school.
