About James
Since completing my first work placement whilst at secondary school, I have wanted to peruse a career in teaching. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and the idea of playing an active role in aiding their development. I aim to provide children with a variety of opportunities to achieve their ambitions. I am a likeable and friendly character who always works hard to achieve his goals. I believe that primary school teachers play a key role in pupil development as they support pupils through their early experiences of school.

Thinking about delivering lessons in a creative way is one of my strengths. I began to develop this skill more throughout my placement in a primary school. I enjoyed the challenge of working out how to best present new concepts to different children. I am keen to develop this area of my practice where I can develop a deeper understanding for all pupils as learning is made specific and relatable supporting their learning in the best way I can.
