About Shivedh
I am a creative writer and novelist who understands both the excitement and the challenge of taking an idea from your imagination and turning it into a complete story.
My own writing journey has given me practical experience in developing characters, building plots, writing dialogue, structuring scenes, outlining longer stories, drafting, revising and editing manuscripts. I have also experienced the process of preparing a novel for publisher submission, which has taught me that writing is not only about inspiration — it is also about patience, structure, revision and persistence.
Alongside writing, I hold a Bachelor of Commerce and an Honours degree in Economics, and I am currently furthering my studies in Accounting. I am also TEFL-certified and have developed educational material for English learners. These experiences have strengthened my ability to explain ideas clearly, work systematically and adapt my approach to different learners.
What I enjoy most about creative writing is that there is no single “correct” story. Two people can begin with the same idea and create completely different worlds.
That is how I approach teaching too. I am not here to turn your writing into mine. I am here to help you discover your characters, strengthen your story and develop your own voice.
You bring the idea. Together, we help it find its way onto the page.

Every story begins with an idea — my lessons are designed to help you turn that idea into something you can actually write.
My creative writing lessons are practical, supportive and tailored to your individual project. We can work on developing story ideas, plotting and outlining, character development, dialogue, scene construction, pacing, story structure and improving your overall writing style.
If you already have a story or manuscript in progress, we can work directly with your own writing. I can help you identify areas that may need development, discuss possible approaches, proofread sections and guide you through revising and strengthening your work while keeping your own voice at the centre of the story.
For aspiring novelists, we can also explore the writing journey from the first idea through drafting, editing and preparing a manuscript for submission, including an introduction to the publishing process.
Lessons are taught in English and are suitable for beginners, developing writers and anyone who has a story they would like to bring to life.
My approach is simple: I don't want to write your story for you. I want to help you develop the skills and confidence to write your story, your way.
