About Abigail
I am a current postgraduate student at St Andrew's University in Scotland, completing my masters in Creative Writing, following four years in New York for my bachelors degree in the same subject. I am passionate about writing, reading, the arts and anything connected to literature. I believe that the best tutors enable students to find the confidence within themselves to achieve their goals, and this is why I find so much value int tutoring. I enjoy igniting student's passion in writing, and helping young people believe in themselves and their own abilities.

I have two year's experience privately tutoring 13-16 year olds in literature specifically, with some additional experience aiding older students including at university level with critical essay writing and creative written projects too. I believe in hand crafting each lesson for each individual student, as there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to teaching. My lesson space is a positive, encouraging environment, and I hope to make all my students comfortable as I help them achieve their goals.
I am personally familiar with AQA and OCR exam boards, and I have knowledge of all set texts for English Literature GCSE and A Level.
