About Jodie
I'm a self-practicing Visual Artist, with a focus in print-making and painting, but I am also a Crochet Pattern Designer.
I'm originally from Canada, but I have lived in Japan for 6 years, where I taught English, and then Sweden for 10 years, where I taught Art and Textiles to grades 3-9.
As a teacher I'm very patient and understanding, and because I'm very passionate about Art Education, I love to help people learn, and discover their potential in multiple art and craft mediums.
I'm also very friendly, and usually get along with everyone I meet :)

I have 15+ years teaching experience in Textiles and Visual Arts, to kids, teens, and adults.
I hold a Master's in Art Education, and a teaching degree certificate for elementary to high school level.
I understand process, and pedagogy, and how to quickly adapt lessons to a student's current level.
