Going back to school in itself was a challenge, but the real challenge came with taking on a class I never did before or had any knowledge of. Chemistry was a big no no for me, but having met with Toni-Nakie I was able to grasp the concept of it and apply myself and was able to pass the class. Her knowledge of every topic was spot on, she was able to bring it down to a level I was able to understand. Her passion for success in her students I believe allowed her to individualize the lesson to the person as she was able to relate my lesson to my likes and dislikes which I believe allowed me to retain the information better. Toni-Nakie is personal and truly cares for your success, she devotes her time, and is always available with any questions you may have concerning your subject area. Toni is an incredible tutor! She focuses on understanding each child's individual needs and learning style. She's incredibly patient and always finds ways to make learning fun and engaging. I loved working with Ms. Toni! Coming from a public school system where most teachers don't have time, resources, or patience to go over material for students who need a little extra, it's the best thing to have someone who understands what she's teaching and knows how to break it down. If I didn't get it one way, she'd find another way to teach me. Ms. Toni helped me to start visualizing what I was learning, which has helped me in more ways than one. I 100% recommend her to anyone having trouble in with a subject.

Toni is punctual, prepared, and competent. She prepares lessons based off of the scholar’s needs and ensures she is providing effective services to test growth. She is able to adapt to whatever circumstances are presented. I would recommend her to anyone.

She is very patient with my child, Zoe. She used a lot of manipulative and real world examples that she would make connections to.
She makes Math Fun! My daughter is more confident now in Math. I saw major improvements in her 3rd grade math.
