About Claudia
I am an Arabic, Persian and Middle Eastern studies final year student who has tutored for the past 4 years at an international summer school for children aged 7-15. I have also volunteered working with local children delivering sessions on multiple subjects. The pupils that I have taught have progressed a lot and passed many of their upcoming exams with excellent results. I also have experience delivering sessions to adults which I developed working with an English tutoring scheme called Paper Airplanes for refugees. I received excellent GCSE and A level results and I'm responsible and love working with students to help them improve and succeed. I am very flexible in what I teach as I have a wide range of academic experiences. I am also familiar with multiple different teaching styles. I have an Enhanced DBS Certificate, dated 25th of May 2021. I am signed up for the update service.

I am an experienced and enthusiastic tutor with experience in a number of fields. I have tutored a range of children from 7-15 as well as languages to adults. I like to set a learning objective at the beginning of each session to make sure our lessons stay on track. I also like to incorporate fun educational exercises as well as discussion to develop the students' skills. After our first session I try to ascertain with the student what kind of techniques work for the individual and apply that to the sessions. A typical lesson can be between 1-2 hours and I can cater for any age.
