About Scarlett
As a Law student I am passionate about English and writing skills, and have helped many students improve their essay writing. This is backed up by my A* in CIE english.
I was lucky enough to work with some very good English teachers and tutors which have given me lots of strategies in how to get the best out of a student: this includes strategies in essay writing for students who are not confident in this area and close analysation of texts to help students gain a better understanding of what they are reading.

I have lots of experience tutoring both in and out of school, and enjoy teaching others.
I typically utilise 30 minute to 1 hour sessions, but this can be tailored based on your needs/preferences.
Specifically for English, I believe that discussion is a great way to improve both knowledge and understanding of texts. This paired with essay writing practice (guided by myself and past exemplars) will greatly improve the students ability in English.
