About Vanessa
I am a first-year Doctor of Medicine international student who has abundant experience tutoring students in a private and academic setting. In my previous experience with private and academic tutoring, my goal was not only to help them understand the material but also to provide guidance as they discover learning methods suitable for them. I created different activities for review and ways to look at new material from different perspectives to find one that could connect with the student. I was able to help some students pass their entrance exams for programs or courses, but it was more satisfying to see my students find their own way of learning and enjoy the learning process. That is the impact I hope to make while sharing knowledge about the fields I love.

I tailor lessons to the student's learning style, focusing on developing understanding through multiple explanations, practical application, and varied review activities. I am able to accommodate students of any age, from primary school to university students. Lessons typically run for 1–1.5 hours. I have 1.5 years of university teaching assistant experience and have privately tutored English and Biology students throughout high school.
