About Emily

I am currently a PhD student at Boston University medical campus. My personal interests lie in neuroscience, specifically studying molecular mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases. However, this was not always my career aspiration. I'd be happy to share more about my journey to becoming a research scientist, and help foster your potential as one as well!

About the lesson

I have a passion for mentoring the next generation of scientists. I'm available to help tutor middle school age through undergraduate students. I have experience directly mentoring/training undergraduates in a laboratory setting. I also can provide guidance and career advice for anyone interested in the research/biotechnology career paths!
