About Nikhil
- Hi! My name is Nikhil Girard and I am currently doing my undergrad studies at McGill University!
- Having taken my A-Levels and GCSEs in a very demanding UK school, I am no stranger to the stress and complications of exams, especially when essay writing is involved.
- I am also aware of that feeling of being 'pressured' into studying by less than compassionate teachers, and I assure you that that will not happen with me.
- I have had to take many an exam by now, and I have much experience in making that challenge more manageable for myself and others. - Your essay writing confidence and structure will be my focus, ensuring you feel at ease when you take the exam.

- I prefer a hands-on, yet friendly and approachable way of teaching classes. Drawing mainly from use of a wide array of past papers and essay-writing techniques that I have picked up over time, I will ensure that the sessions are educational, as well as engaging.
- I am sympathetic to the difficulty and stress of taking nationwide exams, and would prefer to approach a subject in a manner that feels right with the student, rather than alienating them. Getting something wrong is not a failure, but rather a stepping stone to progress!
- I have much experience working with children, having worked previously as a tutor for the younger years in school, as well as months of experience as a camp counsellor.
- A* in English Literature, A in drama (for both A-Levels and GCSE)
- I tend to have my lessons last an hour and a half, but I'm certainly open to tailoring that for whatever will work for you.
- For any ages up to 16 years, and any level is welcome!
