About John
I’m a third year Earth Science student at St Andrews. It’s an inter-disciplinary subject combining multiple classic subjects from secondary school.
I was quite frustrated with the rigid revision techniques I was taught for exams and had to develop my own.
I‘d love to pass these on along with my enjoyment of science.
I tend to prioritise efficient, shorter bursts of learning over hours spent reading over the same material.

I prefer to use multiple avenues of explanation to create a deep understanding of the topic.
Learning by understanding the topic instead of memorising answers is how I like to tutor.
