About Kellie

I am a Graduate student at UNCG in the Mathematics program. I went to UNC Charlotte for my undergraduate degrees in Mathematics & Spanish. I have been tutoring math since middle school (so for about 12 years).

About the lesson

I like to get an idea of how much knowledge the student has in the subject, so I can be sure to not over or under explain to the student. I like to take a look at the material the student needs help with beforehand if possible, to insure our time together is as efficient as possible. I never want the student to feel embarrassed to ask me a question, I would never talk down to the student and always be respectful.

Jennifer

Kellie is an excellent tutor. She helped me through my entire math class at UNCG. She explains how to work through a problem in a way that made sense to me. If you don't understand she will find a way to explain it until you are comfortable with it. She is the only tutor I would work with. She is great.
