About Angelina
I'm a current University of Melbourne Medical Student with a strong academic background and over 7 years of tutoring experience. I completed my undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and Medical Science at the University of Sydney, where I also worked at the Sydney Children’s Hospital, developing not only my academic skills but also a deep sense of empathy and communication. Throughout my tutoring journey, I’ve helped over 40 students successfully navigate the HSC, specializing in English (Standard, Advanced, Extension 1) and Mathematics (Advanced, Extension 1, Extension 2). My own HSC results reflect my strengths – including a 48/50 in English Extension 1 and strong results in Extension 2 Math. I also scored 81 overall in the GAMSAT, with a 93 in Section 3 (reasoning in science and math). I’m passionate about education and love helping students build confidence, stay motivated, and achieve their goals. My aim is to be more than just a tutor – I want to be a mentor and a positive role model. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing music and soccer, and I bring that same energy and focus into my teaching. I'm approachable, results-driven, and genuinely invested in my students' success.

My lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. Whether a student is aiming for top marks or trying to build confidence in a subject they find challenging, I create a structured but flexible learning environment that meets them where they are. I focus on developing deep understanding, not just memorization. That means we spend time mastering key concepts, applying them to real questions, and building strong exam strategies. I also help students improve their study techniques, time management, and critical thinking – skills that go beyond the classroom. My teaching style is highly interactive and student-led. I encourage students to ask questions, think independently, and reflect on their progress. I regularly review content, provide targeted feedback, and adjust my approach to suit each learning style. For English students, I work on analysis, writing structure, and clarity – helping them express complex ideas with confidence. For Math, I focus on simplifying difficult concepts and building logical problem-solving skills. Most importantly, my goal is not only to help students achieve academic success, but also to be a positive role model and mentor. I want my students to feel supported, motivated, and proud of their progress.
