About L
I’m a final year student studying architecture at the Bartlett in UCL. I’ve grown up in London my whole life and just completed A-levels in Art&Design, Biology and Physics last year. As a neurodivergent Student I’m very passionate about changing the UK education system and helping those clever students that often get left behind or ignored just because their school performance is slightly different to their peers. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my architecture degree and as someone who loves both science and art I’m very passionate about how the two can be combined and would love to share this interest with whoever I teach. Overall I’m a very interdisciplinary individual who loves to learn and would revel in the opportunity to teach younger students!

I am a visual learner, meaning I’d often have to find my own method of teaching myself complex concepts that I didn’t grasp first time in my lessons due to the linearity of theBritish education system. For this reason I know what it’s like for some kids to feel different just because they learn in a different way and I’d love to share my tips and the way I taught myself with others. Some examples include: making visual Mindmaps of multi-step scientific processes, learning things practically and using real world examples where possible. I’d come to lessons prepared with examples and teach students how to then develop these skills on there own. For students at GCSE and A-level I’d make sure to incorporate past exam papers to ensure they feel as prepared as possible when exams come around.
