I’ve been working with Khivi for a while now, and she’s made a huge difference to my English. I was predicted a 5 in both English Lit and Lang, but with her help I ended up getting 7s in both. She explains things really clearly and helped me build a lot more confidence, especially when it came to essays. I remember one session where she showed me how to properly structure my answers, and it completely changed how I approached exams. She’s really supportive and genuinely cares about her students, from helping me with flashcards to checking through practice answers, which made a big difference.

Khivi is family and has always had excellent subject knowledge and confidence in English: grammar, vocabulary, spelling, common mistakes, and writing styles (formal, creative, and analytical). She has a deep understanding of essay writing and argument building. She explains points clearly and scaffolds learning into small steps. When giving feedback, she explains and suggests improvements. Khivi displays adaptability in her lesson planning and encourages others to achieve good progress. She is kind and gentle in her natural conversation. Khivi is adept at using online tools. She has had experience in school working with primary-aged children, which she loved.
