About Preet

Hey!
I'm currently a BSc Nursing student in London, but tutoring has always been close to my heart. I grew up mentoring younger students as Head Girl and House Captain, and I've always loved the moment a concept finally "clicks" for someone. I'm fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi, and I did well academically myself (91% in English, 86% in Biology, IELTS 7.5, PTE 86,90), so I know what it takes to build strong foundations. I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy helping students feel less intimidated by subjects they're struggling with, and watching their confidence grow session by session.

About the lesson

I take a patient, personalised approach to tutoring, breaking topics down step by step and checking understanding before moving on, rather than rushing through content. Lessons typically run 45–60 minutes, with a mix of explanation, practice questions, and revisiting anything tricky from homework or class. I'm currently a nursing student with a strong academic background (91% in English, 86% in Biology at school level, IELTS 7.5, PTE 86,90), and I've mentored younger students as Head Girl and House Captain. My lessons are designed for school students, covering Biology, Maths, English, Hindi, and Punjabi, plus general homework and assignment support — I'm happy to adapt the pace to whatever helps a student feel confident.
