About Karen

I am a certified English Teacher at Luis Amigo Catholic University from Medellin, Colombia. Through my teaching experience, I've come to understand that while the structural aspects of language are important, confidence in speaking plays a pivotal role in effective communication. This realization has reshaped my approach to teaching, emphasizing the cultivation of confidence alongside language proficiency.

I am passionate about empowering my students to communicate effectively in English, equipping them with the skills and confidence they need to succeed in diverse linguistic environments. My goal is to foster an environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves freely and confidently, enabling them to thrive in their language learning journey.

About the lesson

As an experienced English teacher specializing in private classes, currently based in the United States, I focus on unstructured conversational English to provide my students with a genuine, everyday communication experience. My goal is to help them develop confidence and fluency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, enabling them to achieve their personal goals.

From beginners to advanced students, I offer personalized instruction tailored to each student's needs and objectives.
