About Derek
I am an undergraduate student at UCIrvine currently studying Data Science. In high school I was extremely into computer programming, particularly game design. It was so fascinating to see the things I could create, and to share it with other people. Since then, I have shifted more towards Data Analysis since there is so much data in the world and not enough people to make something of it. I still really enjoy programming though. I was a Data Analyst Intern at Wynd Technologies, Inc. when they were still a startup, and I was also hired to set up the data base for another startup as a Data Consultant. I promise this stuff isn't as confusing as it seems, you just need to put in the time to understand the concepts.
