About Dominick
My name is Dominick and I have ten years of teaching experience as an Instructor in Programming and Computing, a Tutor in Math / Computer Information Systems, and as an Independent Tutor in the aforementioned fields, as well as English writing. Through my years of Training and Practice, I've learned how to identify and share knowledge based on one's learning style (Visual, Auditory, Tactile, Hybrid) in ways that are easy to understand for the student.

In order to effectively teach, my first step is to understand how a student processes information (visual, auditory, tactile, hybrid). Depending on which learning style the student has, I tailor my lesson plan around these concepts.
Typically, a lesson plan for a session (let's say an hour) begins with 10 min introduction and check-in with a student's well-being, 40 mins will go into teaching the content, and 10 more minutes to summarize and see whether or not a student has questions before concluding a lesson.
What sets me apart from other tutors is that I get to know a student before sharing knowledge, so as to ensure that material is processed in a way the student understands. This means evaluating what a student already knows. What are their strengths / weaknesses, how do they learn? I ask myself these questions and determine what's best so that the learning environment is smooth and information is digestable.
These lessons are for all ages who wish to learn English as a Second Language.
