About Atiyya
"I am an English tutor who values clarity, patience, and a straightforward approach to learning. My background in literature and poetry allows me to break down complex texts into understandable parts, and I enjoy helping others navigate the challenges of academic exams. I am a calm and observant person, which helps me identify exactly where a student is struggling so we can address it directly. I believe in being reliable and consistent, ensuring that every lesson is organized and focused on the task at hand. Outside of tutoring, I spend my time reading and staying informed on literary trends to ensure my knowledge remains current for my students."

"My lessons are designed to be a safe and encouraging space where students feel confident enough to make mistakes and learn from them. I begin every journey by assessing your current level and identifying your specific goals, whether that is passing an exam or simply holding a conversation. Each session is a blend of practical grammar, vocabulary expansion, and real-world application. In my lessons, we go beyond basic grammar to explore the beauty and depth of English Literature and Poetry. I guide students through the critical analysis of classic and contemporary texts, teaching you how to deconstruct metaphors, identify themes, and understand the historical context of a writer’s work. When it comes to poetry, we focus on rhythm, meter, and the emotional resonance of the word. To ensure you are fully prepared for school or university demands, I provide regular mock exams and timed essay-writing assessments. This rigorous testing approach helps identify knowledge gaps, builds your confidence under pressure, and ensures you have mastered the analytical skills necessary to achieve top marks in any English examination."
