About Edel
I am a college student who has a passion for playing and teaching classical violin. I have been studying violin and music theory since the age of 6. I’ve spent years developing my playing through consistent practice, lessons with my teachers, grade exams and solo performances. I also have a lot of experience in ensemble work and have performed with the Dublin Youth Orchestras, Trinity Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland. I achieved a distinction in grade 8 violin a few years ago and am currently working towards a diploma. My goal is to share the skills and discipline I’ve developed and help others experience the same enjoyment and achievement that the violin has brought me.

I focus on creating lessons that are encouraging, structured, and tailored to each student’s pace. My goal is to help students build strong technique while also developing genuine confidence and enjoyment in their playing. From my 14 years of learning violin myself, I understand the importance of clear fundamentals—posture, bow control, intonation, and musical expression—and I try to break these skills down in a way that feels manageable and rewarding.
