Dixie is a mature and reliable individual who always works hard and is determined to complete tasks set to the best of her ability in order to achieve her goals. She is trust worthy and dependent and an excellent team player. Dixie has always taken on feedback positively, making improvements and progressing in her performance. Her organisational skills and time keeping is exemplar and she is empathetic to others feelings and her surroundings making sound judgments and decisions.

During the past 5 years I have either been Form Tutor to or taught Dixie A Level Biology.
I have always found her to be thoroughly honest and reliable, with a cheerful and positive disposition.

She is inherently curious with respect to scientific phenomena. She also enjoys the learning process and during the A Level course she took full responsibility for her learning. As well as being attentive to detail and proactive in understanding the subject content, she was self-reflective in her work in order to refine her: learning process, study skills and exam technique. She worked effectively both independently and in collaboration with others, sharing and developing ideas. She took full advantage of and appreciated the benefits of revision tutorials, working either with myself as her teacher or with other students to resolve specific subject-related issues,

Not surprisingly, she regularly attended our weekly Biology Discuss Group meeting. She voluntarily gave several presentations herself to an audience of both staff and students, as well as being a supportive member of the audience for other students. She clearly enjoys the collaborative nature of science, whether from a point of delivering information or being a recipient.
