About Vincent
As a tutor, my goal is to inspire confidence in every learner by creating a supportive environment where questions are welcomed and challenges are approached step by step. With a Doctor of Information Technology and years of experience teaching at university level and mentoring students, I bring both academic expertise and real-world insights into the classroom. I want to teach because I believe education is not just about knowledge transfer, but about empowering students to think critically, grow independently, and achieve their full potential.

I simplify complex concepts by breaking them into clear, manageable steps and using real-world examples to make lessons engaging. My teaching style emphasizes active learning and critical thinking, with scaffolded exercises that build confidence and independence. A typical lesson runs 60–90 minutes, combining explanation, practice, and discussion. With a Doctor of Information Technology and experience teaching as a sessional staff at QUT, I bring both academic and industry perspectives. My lessons are tailored for university and postgraduate students, but I also adapt content for non-tertiary learners seeking to strengthen their skills in computing, data, or problem-solving.
