About Elizabeth
I am a 41 year old teacher who lives in the Far North of New Zealand. I have a 10 year old son and I am married to my avocado farming husband. I have a special interest in Literacy and believe all students can achieve success in reading if given the correct tools and teaching.

I use science backed methods to help struggling readers catch up and start enjoying reading. These methods are grounded in how a student learns to read and has been successfully implemented for hundreds of students including those with specific problems like dyslexia. Classes will start with a baseline assessment to determine the student’s starting point. From there I will plan the scope and sequence for each lesson.
