About Aliona
My name is Aliona and I am a graduate from the University of Denver Colorado with an honors background in science. My passion for science has pushed me towards the medical field, as I am currently a student at the best Registered Nursing program in Colorado. I also have a passion for writing, literature, history, and language. I’ve earned many awards for essay writing and love tutoring in this area as well. I speak fluent Russian and English, and am currently learning Spanish in my free time. If you couldn’t tell, I love learning! Therefore, I completely understand the importance of making learning fun and something to look forward too. When I was in high school, I was terrified of subjects like math and science, but in college when I learned the right study techniques I was able to overcome my fears and get A’s in these subjects. I want to remove the terrifying stigma surrounding science, as with the right methods, these subjects are not scary or difficult at all. I would be honored to help you in your chosen area of study, and I promise to always make our sessions a judgement free zone where you can be yourself, and where we can work together to find techniques that work best for your personal learning style.
