Hello! I am Annie Grace, a DepEd Government Teacher in the Philippines with 2 years of teaching experience in a private school and almost 1 year of experience in the public school system.
My teaching approach is learner-centered, engaging, patient, and personalized. I believe that every learner has different strengths, needs, and ways of understanding lessons. Because of this, I adjust my teaching methods and techniques according to the learner's level, pace, and learning needs.
I use simple explanations, guided practice, examples, interactive activities, visual materials, and repetition when needed to make difficult topics easier to understand. I encourage learners to ask questions and actively participate so that learning becomes enjoyable, meaningful, and confidence-building.
A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous learning, followed by a clear introduction to the new topic. I explain the lesson step by step, provide examples, and guide the learner through practice activities. I also check understanding throughout the lesson and give constructive feedback. At the end, we summarize the key points and identify areas that may need additional practice.
What sets me apart is my experience teaching in both private and public schools, which has helped me work with learners from different backgrounds and with varying learning abilities. As a current DepEd teacher, I understand the importance of following curriculum standards while making lessons accessible, practical, and appropriate for each learner.
My lessons are especially suitable for elementary learners, particularly those who need support in building their foundation in subjects such as English, Reading, Mathematics, and other basic elementary subjects. I welcome learners who need additional guidance, practice, remediation, or enrichment. My goal is not only to help students understand their lessons but also to help them become more confident and independent learners.
